Objectives:

The aim of the course is to equip nursing staff with the relevant knowledge and skills to identify any abnormalities in babies and young children.

A developmental milestone is an ability that is achieved by most children by a certain age. Developmental milestones can involve physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills such as walking, sharing with others, expressing emotions, recognizing familiar sounds, and talking. Learning, playing and scheduled immunisations will assist in your child's developmental journey.

The Objective is to train nursing staff to recognise any abnormal development in babies and young children for early intervention thereof
