Objectives:As a short course ¿ Intended for health and development research, services, and policy professionals. Aims to enable students to make informed selections between research methods as well as how to optimally implement them to maximize efficiency, scientific integrity, and real-world utility. Expected that students will apply the course to a practical research question from their work or other postgraduate studies ¿ for example, completing an academic paper, designing a systems evaluation, or applying for a grant.
As a core module for MPhil by coursework/Postgraduate Diploma in Transdisciplinary Health and Development Studies ¿ Core module for all MPhil by coursework and PGDip students. Aims to enable students to select an appropriate method for their mini-thesis and critically reflect on that method.
