This course aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge, understanding and skills to undertake economic evaluations in health and health care. Specifically, the aims of the course are firstly, to provide students with an overview of health economics as a field of study; secondly, to enhance students understanding of the contribution that economic evaluation can make in policy decisions on choosing healthcare interventions, and thirdly to equip students with analytical tools needed for this purpose
