Objectives:

Overall aim: To provide candidates (occupational medical practitioners) with the necessary competency (knowledge and skills) for managing the occupational health aspects of ionising radiation as occupational hazard.

The course also has the objective of ensuring fulfillment of the requirements for registration with the National Nuclear Regulator as an Appointed Medical Practitioner as required in legislation.
