Objectives:
The context of this course is specifically on road transportation crashes. The course examines the multiple factors involved in crashes¿including environmental, human and vehicular factors to improve the understanding of the causes and types of traffic crashes. The role of the transportation engineer in response to these factors will be explored, and specific approaches and countermeasures will be examined.
