Objectives:

This program is designed to equip Western Cape Government (WCG) Human Rights Forum members and managers with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively advocate for and integrate human rights principles into governance and service delivery. Participants will:
1. Advocate for Human Rights: Effectively promote and implement human rights principles within their roles and departments.
2. Integrate Human Rights into Governance: Embed human rights considerations into policies, strategies, and service delivery processes.
3. Foster an Inclusive Workplace Culture: Uphold dignity, equality, and non-discrimination within the work environment.
4. Identify and Address Human Rights Gaps: Recognize risks and develop practical solutions for addressing human rights challenges.
5. Lead by Example: Serve as role models in adopting and promoting a rights-based approach to governance and service delivery.
