Our summer school will take a deep dive into the nexus of climate change, migration, and health, drawing on a range of expertise and the experience of our participants. We seek to dissect the drivers and impacts of this nexus at all scales, from regional to local, and co-generate ideas for actionable interventions to alleviate its impacts. This forms part of the CliMigHealth initiative (www.climighealth.org).
This initiative will convert our collaborative research into educational content for master¿s and PhD students across the Western Cape and broader African region. The Summer School is structured to facilitate in-person participation for African collaborators.
