This Intensive English Programme (IEP) Upper Intermediate level short course is intended to achieve the following aims in one eight-week academic module by developing students’ ability to:
1. Read and understand a variety of B2-level English texts dealing with a wide range of topics.
2. Listen to, understand, and participate meaningfully in oral English communication covering a range of subjects.
3. Construct a range of coherent and cohesive texts in English with multiple paragraphs in a developed response.
4. Demonstrate consistent independent use of a wide range of English vocabulary and grammatical structures.
