Objectives:
The main objectives of the short course are that participants should:- Have a better understanding of the nature of academic editing
- Have an understanding of the ethical challenges that arise during the practice of academic editing
- Be aware of the international guidelines for the editing of academic texts
- Have an understanding of the various types and degrees of editing
- Acquire and practice practical strategies for the ethical editing of academic texts
After the short course, participants should be able to approach future academic editing tasks with more confidence.
