Digital Transformation of the State

Objectives:

This course aims to provide participants with an understanding on how the new building blocks of the digital transformation (platforms, data, smart devices, produsers) can be used for respective public services provided today and in the future at a national or community level. Furthermore, as technology is expensive and skills are scarce, a viable change management approach must be considered (change by platforms= re-use of solutions in different contexts). The main objective of this course is to equip participants with insights into how to use digitization and build solutions for their respective context, and with knowledge and skills to deal with various associated tasks and issues (data management and security, open source solutions, participative processes).
