Objectives:

The main objectives of the workshop are that participants should:
- Have a better understanding of the nature of academic editing
- Have an understanding of the ethical challenges that arise during the practice of academic editing
- Be aware of the international guidelines for the editing of academic texts
- Have an understanding of the various types and degrees of editing
- Acquire and practice practical strategies for the ethical editing of academic texts

After the workshop, participants should be able to approach future academic editing tasks with more confidence. The main objectives of the workshop are that participants should:
